Ketevan Sharumashvili is one of the foremost Georgian pianists of her generation. In 2010 she obtained her Master’s degree at the State Conservatory of Tbilisi, where she studied with a scholarship from the then President Saakashvili. In Hamburg she obtained the diploma concert pianist with excellent mention. She follows several masterclasses with master pianists such as Tamás Vásáry and Paul Badura-Skoda, who are impressed by her sensitive playing and virtuosity. This is followed by several international prizes such as the first prize and the ‘Special Price of the Jury’ in the Pianale competition in Germany.
