Nikola Meeuwsen once heard Rachmaninov’s third piano concerto with Vladimir Horowitz. Then he knew he wanted to be a pianist! And at the moment he is one of the most striking young piano talents in the Netherlands.
Despite his age, he has already won many prizes, including the Concertgebouw Young Talent Award and the Steinway Competition. Nikola Meeuwsen is a welcome guest at music festivals. He performed in the Storioni Festival and in the Chamber Music Festival Schiermonnikoog.
At the moment Nikola is studying at the Conservatory of The Hague and for several years now he has been taking monthly lessons from Enrico Pace at the prestigious Accademia Pianistica di Imola in Italy.
