Those of you who attended the concert in BIJ ANDREAS last year on November 30th, no doubt know who Nicolas van Poucke is. This young pianist played a fascinating recital that evening with which we celebrated the Name Day of St. Andreas. This year he will return and to give our party something extra, we have also invited his friend and colleague Thomas Beijer .
Thomas and Nicolas belong to the top of a new generation of young pianists in the Netherlands. Both won many prizes and played solo as well as with orchestra on important stages in the Netherlands and abroad. Nicolas is a passionate musician who feels the music in great detail and plays with dynamics and emotion. Conductor Jaap van Zweden once called him an extreme talent. Thomas is no less driven and a versatile and very interesting musician. He not only plays but also composes and arranges.
It promises to be a wonderful evening! We therefore hope that many of you will come and listen to this special double concert.
