David Vaamonde (1999) is a versatile pianist and composer from Galicia (Spain). His musical activities are very diverse: he is a soloist, ensemble musician and improviser. And he feels musically at home in classical as well as salsa and jazz. But his background as a classical pianist is the common thread.
For Sunday 30 April 2023 we have invited pianist Ruben Plazier. Ruben obtained his Diplôme Supérieur d’èxécution unanimously in 2021 at the Ecole Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris, where he was supervised by Jean-Bernard Pommier.
After two days of intensive master classes, the nine students give a final concert in which they present themselves to each other, to masters Nino Gvetadze, Mariam Batsashvili and Diana Ketler, and to the audience. An excellent opportunity to hear how much talent has gathered in Naarden. We will certainly be hearing more from some of them!

The very first edition of NIPF Masterclass starts with a dazzling opening concert. Masters Nino Gvetadze, Mariam Batsashvili and Diana Ketler demonstrate their mastery in a program with virtuoso music by Franz Liszt, but also with melancholy sounds by Valentin Silvestrov. Of course we also welcome the nine students to this concert, for many the first meeting with their teachers for the coming days.
This evening is all about the tango, from the doyen of the Argentine tango Astor Piazzolla to Igor Stravinksy and Kurt Weill.
On March 17, we have the honor to welcome the 2nd prize winner of the Liszt Utrecht International Piano Competition. You will of course hear virtuoso works by Liszt, but the full program is still a surprise…
Described by Fanfare Magazine in 2018 as a true keyboard poet, Pablo Suaste’s elegant and virtuoso artistry has led to him being recognized as an emerging artist in the music world.
