BIJ ANDREAS regularly organizes a chamber concert on Friday evenings for you to enjoy. With changing genres and renowned artists, there is always a nice offer. Please note: this time the concert will exceptionally take place on a Thursday. And that is Thursday evening October 27, 2022.
The Storioni Trio is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading piano trios. The ensemble, founded in 1995, takes its name from the violin (1794) built by Laurentius Storioni and played by Wouter Vossen. In the early years, the three musicians worked intensively with the Vermeer quartet, the violinist Isaac Stern, the cellist Mstislav Rostropovich and with Menahem Pressler, the pianist of the illustrious Beaux Arts Trio. Winning the ‘Kersjes Prijs’ in 2000 contributed to a flying start.
This season the ensemble celebrates its 25th anniversary. They will do that on Thursday evening 27 October in Naarden, with a great program that will be announced shortly.
