After a successful first edition in 2023, the Naarden International Piano Festival will once again focus on masterclasses for young, promising students in 2025.
The festival opens with a concert by the Masters. Nino Gvetadze (artistic director of the festival), Paul Komen and Juliana Steinbach will play works by Schumann, Beethoven and Prokofiev and will close together with Rachmaninov’s Romance in A for six hands. For most of the nine students, this concert will also be their first introduction to their teachers for the following days.
The masterclasses will take place on 3 and 4 April in BIJ ANDREAS, the Cityhall and Het Arsenaal and are open to the public.
