After her performance in the Discovery Concerts of the Naarden International Piano Festival 2024, the young Dutch pianist Alexandra Kaptein will return to BIJ ANDREAS on 23 February. This afternoon, she will present a diverse program, featuring sonatas by Haydn and Brahms. In between, she will perform 2 Csárdás, Hungarian dances by piano virtuoso Franz Liszt. Additionally, she will play a rarely heard piece: Echo of the Mephisto-Waltz, Opus 42, by the Russian composer Vladimir Ryabov, born in 1950. A recital to look forward to!
