** Due to the one and a half meter measure, there are much fewer tickets available.
We therefore work with two starting times so that we can please many of you.**
Yang Yang Cai (1998) is one of the greatest Dutch piano talents of her generation. At the age of 10 she already received lessons from Jan Wijn, the authority of the Dutch piano school, and in 2019 she obtained her Bachelor’s degree with him with the highest possible distinction at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. In the same year, Yang Yang won the prestigious Grand Prix Youri Egorov during the final of the YPF Piano Competition: suddenly she was in the spotlight with a fully booked concert agenda. We are therefore very proud that Yang Yang is coming to us for a special recital. It promises to be a virtuoso afternoon in which Beethoven cannot be missed on his 250th birthday. From his 32 rambunctious variations in C minor, we travel on to the impressionistic sound world of Debussy and Ravel. The Tombeau de Couperin is one of the absolute impressionist masterpieces for solo piano. An afternoon not to be missed!
