BIJ ANDREAS regularly organizes special Friday evening concerts in the series ‘Surprises on Friday’. With changing genres and renowned artists, there is always a nice selection. Be surprised!
Soprano Sophie Klußmann, born in Freiburg, is an opera and concert singer. Since 2008 she has played in several operas worldwide and played leading roles as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte and Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro.
Andrea Rucli studied piano at the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence and gives concerts on an international scale. He is a lover of Chausson and Schumann, but is also an advocate of works by unknown composers.
On February 17, 2023, Klußmann and Rucli will pay tribute to, among others, Ella von Schultz Adaiewsky (1846 – 1926), a (wrongly?) unknown female composer. But other composers are also featured, such as Clara Schumann, Alma Mahler and Arnold Schönberg.
This concert has an intermission.
